Question:
What strength of Viagra should I take?

Answer:
In most cases a patient would start with a 50 mg pill and increase or decrease the dose if necessary, for example, if they experience side effects, or if the effect of the medication is not strong enough. The 25 mg tablet is normally recommended to those taking other medicines where there may be contraindications. There is no reason for you not to start with the very lowest dose, but in general the initial dose is a 50 mg pill and you would go from there. Splitting the tablets in half is fine, but it can be tricky to get an exact half dose.
